Lincoln Christian School has been my home away from home for the past 22 years. I began my teaching and coaching career here, watched my children Kent (Class of 2009) and Cole (Class of 2012) grow from boys to young men and watched myself grow a career and a relationship with the real Jesus. My sons are both married and between them have four of life’s greatest joys: Judah, Jordyn, Justus, & Jones, our grandchildren. Paul (husband of 33 years) has supported me, our children, and all the Bulldogs for the past 22 years.
While at Lincoln, I have taught students through the subjects of English (7-12), Bible, Health & PE, while coaching athletes in basketball, softball, and volleyball. After leaving the classroom, I became the Curriculum and Accreditation Director before becoming the secondary assistant principal. Currently, I’m in my fifth year serving as the secondary principal, and I consider it an honor to work for the school that belongs to my church.
I graduated from Southern Nazarene University with a Bachelor of Science in HPER. Much later, I obtained my Masters's in Teaching and certificate in Administration from Northeastern State University.
My favorite parts of my work are serving staff, students, and families, and building relationships with people. I know God has called me here, and I endeavor every minute to work unto Him while fulfilling the calling He has placed within me to love people the way He loves me: Unconditionally.
