Bio

My name is Laura Meerholz, and Church On The Move has been my home since 1988. My husband Paul and I have been married for 27 years, and we have two adult children, Sterling and Jaide, both graduates of LCS. We are active at Church On The Move; I am on the prayer team at Oneighty on Wednesday evenings, for Daughters events, and at the Tulsa Campus on Saturday evenings.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in art at ORU. While I was a graphic designer at WGM, I began teaching art part-time as an enrichment program during Lincoln’s second year. I fell in love with it and returned full-time, leading to a twenty-plus-year adventure in teaching art at LCS.

I feel most passionate when connecting with students and helping them find their voice through their artwork. Creating a safe place to learn, make mistakes, and ask questions is the ultimate goal in my classroom. I want those who enter to feel the love and peace of Christ in an atmosphere of experimentation and learning of all styles.

I love camping and being outdoors, and I am a big Dallas Cowboys fan.
