6th Grade Social Studies/History Teacher/Lead Teacher

I have had the privilege of working at Lincoln Christian School for more than 10 years! I currently teach Social Studies and I am the lead teacher for sixth grade. I am a 1995 graduate of Oral Roberts University. I have been married to Scott Farris for 23 years and have two sons: Logan, a 20 year old, and Hudson a 10th grader. This is my 16th year as an LCS parent, and you will see me at many sporting events. My family has attended Church on the Move for 20 years and I love everything about this ministry. I believe teaching is my ministry and I wanted a place like Lincoln where I could use my gifts. All of my current and former students will tell you that I am a huge Seattle Seahawks fan. When I was 5 years old, I went to my first Seattle game in 1977 at the Kingdome. Go Hawks!

6th Grade Math Teacher

My name is Cindi Maier and this is my first year teaching 6th grade math at Lincoln Christian School. My husband, Ben, and I have been married for 29 years and own our business building custom homes. We have 3 children, Ashlie, Luke and AJ. Ashlie graduated from ORU in December and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Dentistry. She and her husband, Patrick, live in Tampa where he is also pursuing a doctorate only in Molecular Medicine. After completing two years playing football and attending school at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, Luke has moved back to complete his pilot's license for a career in aviation. My youngest, AJ, attends LIncoln and is in the 7th grade. I have held many different roles during my career in education. I completed a bachelor’s of science degree in elementary education at Oral Roberts University in 1997 and recently completed my master’s degree in mathematics education at Northeastern State University. I taught for 8 years in a private Christian school here in Tulsa and 2 years with Epic, an online public school. I have also homeschooled my own children and taught in a variety of different homeschool programs over the last 13 years. The Maier’s tend to be a very sports-focused family. All of my children have played a variety of sports (basketball, football, volleyball, lacrosse, baseball, and track and field). My husband and I have been the football Athletic Director of NOAH (Northeastern Oklahoma Association of Homeschoolers) for the last 7 years, and we have held many different coaching positions from elementary up through varsity for 13 years. We have also served on the Board of Directors for the organization for the past 10 years. I love watching my children play all of their various sports and do what they love, but my heart for sports will always be with basketball which I played up until college and later had the honor of coaching my daughter’s Gold Ball JV and varsity teams. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to teach at Lincoln. I am passionate about education but more than that I am passionate about sharing the love of God with my students. I believe my calling is to help young people develop a life that follows after the principles of God and encourage them to develop the gifts and talents that God has given them. I am also excited that my son has the opportunity to learn at a place that places a strong emphasis on building character in the next generation.

6th Grade ELA Teacher

My name is Keli Harrell, I have been married to my husband, Mike, for the past 27 years. We have 5 children: Kailan, Chelsea, Alex, Kyleigh, and T.H. This is my 27th year in education, and my 1st year at Lincoln Christian School. I chose LCS because my daughter, Kailan, had been asking me to retire from public education, move back home to Northeastern Oklahoma, and come to work at LCS. She and I both have been praying for all the pieces to fall in place for this move for several years. One fun fact about me is that I love my dogs as much as my children.
