Cross Country Course

LCS is home to a newly constructed, OSSAA-certified 5K cross country course located on the north side of campus. Designed to meet official standards, this course allows LCS to host competitive meets and provides runners with a high-quality racing experience. The original course, first created in 2009, began as a 1-mile loop along the south tree line of the Church on the Move campus. It expanded over the years to form a 5-mile loop without repeating terrain. With both the historic course and our new certified 5K route, LCS offers cross-country athletes an exceptional environment for training and competition, making it one of the top programs and facilities in Tulsa.

Opened in 2003, the Dennis Byrd Stadium features three press box areas, including a dedicated game sponsor suite. The stadium honors the legacy of Dennis Byrd, renowned University of Tulsa and New York Jets player, who served as a volunteer coach for the Bulldogs from 2003 to 2007.

In August 2019, the field at Dennis Byrd Stadium was named in honor of Willie George, founding Pastor of Church on the Move and founder of Lincoln Christian School. Recently upgraded with Astro Turf’s latest artificial surface in spring 2023, Willie George Field provides a top-tier playing experience for the Bulldogs.
