Elementary Community

Our community places a strong emphasis on the importance of relationships—between students, teachers, and families—recognizing that true learning happens in the context of connection.

Classes

Bible

Daily lessons nurture a personal relationship with Jesus and build a biblical worldview, guided by The Bible and Deep Roots.

Mathematics

Hands-on, problem-based learning aligned across K–12 for strong skill development, using Big Ideas by Cengage and National Geographic.

Language Arts

Systematic instruction in reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary rooted in biblical principles, guided by SuperKids (Zaner-Bloser) in K–2 and BJU Press in grades 3–4.

Handwriting
Multi-sensory lessons that develop confident, fluent writing, using Learning Without Tears.

Social Studies

A narrative approach to history, geography, and Oklahoma history through a biblical lens, using Abeka (one semester).

Science

Inquiry-based exploration that integrates faith and scientific discovery, guided by Purposeful Design Science (one semester).

Explore Rotation

Students receive instruction in a wide range of subjects, including music, Spanish, technology, and physical education, designed to support their overall development—creatively, physically, and intellectually. (2nd-6th)

Music

Students develop foundational skills in rhythm, tempo, and notation while engaging in singing, movement, and praise and worship, fostering a lifelong love for music.

Spanish

Through interactive activities, songs, and basic conversations, students gain an engaging introduction to Spanish, expanding their vocabulary and cultural awareness.

Technology

Starting in 2nd grade, students build 21st-century skills through touch-typing, basic coding, and Google Apps, enhancing digital literacy and logical thinking.

Physical Education

Students stay active through sports, games, and exercises that promote fitness, teamwork, and lifelong healthy habits.

The Bulldog Readers program was designed to inspire students to go above and beyond their required reading in the classroom. As they earn points, they progress through levels, aiming to become a Bulldog Reader—an achievement celebrated at a special year-end event!
