Our theater and speech classes introduce students to the skills necessary for effectively communicating in any setting—including the dramatic arts. Students will have the opportunity to explore the technical and creative sides of theater as well as learn the fundamentals of public speaking.
Grade Level: 7th Grade (one semester)
This course introduces creative play as a means for exploring creative expression, and lays the foundation for proper vocal techniques and body movement in performance.
Grade Level: 7th - 12th Grade (one semester)
This class focuses on the technical side of theater. Students will explore the basics of costume design, set design, prop design, and more, while getting hands-on experience during the current school production.
Grade Levels: 8th - 12th Grade (full year)
This course introduces and explores theater from page to stage as a live performing art. Students will explore the technical side of theater, getting hands-on experience during the current school production.
Grade Level: 9th - 12th Grade (full year)
A performance-based class covering acting styles, directing basics, and technical theater. Students compete with the One Act Team in the fall, join the Speech Team for winter tournaments, and participate in the Spring musical on stage or behind the scenes.

This course introduces public speaking fundamentals through activities and exercises to build confidence before delivering Demonstration, Persuasive, Informative, and Ceremonial speeches.
Each year, our students put on an incredible musical production, a true showcase of their creativity and talent. This year, we are excited to present Disney’s Frozen!
