In our visual arts classes, students will learn to understand and apply the elements and principles of art, exploring a wide range of media. Students will create original works of art while evaluating masterpieces, gaining a deeper appreciation for the art around them in everyday life.
7th Grade
This course builds upon the 6th grade explore course to further challenge students in the creative process.
8th-12th Grade
This course will address the basic skills and knowledge necessary to communicate in each art form.
9-12th Grade
Students will understand and apply the elements and principles of art while working with various media to create original works of art.
10-12th Grade
Students will refine skills, explore cultural art, build portfolios, and critique work.
9-12th Grade
This course allows students to explore their chosen mediums deeply and submit their original works for display at the Night of Fine Arts in May.
