Did you know that the word “steadfast” comes before the word love and appears as a characteristic of God over 120 times in the Bible? According to Webster’s Dictionary, steadfast means resolutely or dutifully firm and unwavering. God must have really wanted to get this across to believers about His love for us!
Many of our students in the elementary and intermediate have memorized the entire love confession this school year! As their parents and as their leaders, let’s remind them that the love of God is steadfast and never changes. It is constant no matter if they turn in an assignment late, fail a test, or get in trouble in class. God’s love is steady and true!
